A warm welcome to the March 2016 Objitec business metrics and progress report.
We make these reports public so that others can learn, comment on, or even advise us on where to improve. All comments are welcome at the end of the post.
Google Analytics And Google Search Console
The following link is a reminder of the sites that we manage as part of the Objitec company.
This month we went live with a new look and feel for the PlanIt-BookIt main product web site. If you get chance to take a look we would welcome any feedback. The sites is now using the Landing Page theme from Themify.
The above screen enables a parallax scroll down to the following features section…
The sign up page gets the prospective buyer to select a market that most closely matches their business. We need to add more markets to this page soon…
Other than the changes above there were no new articles published on any of the objitec web sites this month.
Traffic to our core product site PlanIt-BookIt has taken a hit this month which is no doubt due to the big changes that we have put forward to the sites look and feel. Objitec and online-booking-system.net and our core PlanIt-BookIt application are all relatively constant

Development
Not much in terms of development for the PlanIt-BookIt application this month. We added an “Event Scores” form in admin so scores for events can be added and we changed the core system so that members can see their scores and rankings based on event scores.
And we additionally added the ability to add line breaks when sending out member correspondence.
SalesTalk Development
Most of this months effort was focused on the development of a new cloud based application called SalesTalk.
Customer Database
The first phase of this project was a customer database shown below…
Call Diary
Followed by a simple call diary that calculates the expected next order date based on previous orders and displays them to the user in priority of the nearest expected next order date.
As customers call for new orders the last order details are updated…
This modal has additional tabs for viewing the customers past orders and to record any notes for the customer.
New Business
On Wed 30th of March we demoed our new SalesTalk product to a small printing company. They really liked it and are looking to start using the product shortly after a few minor tweaks that they requested.
